Just wanted to pass along a short note to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip to France last month. We really appreciated your assistance in guiding us through the organizational process and wanted to let you know that everything worked out just right. It was a very active schedule but the way you had laid it out was just perfect. It kept us on the move and at the same time we never felt rushed so enjoyed each and every aspect and location along the way. The hotels you recommended were exquisite and the first class train trips were perfect — a relaxing way to see Europe! Finally, the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and courteous and made the educational aspect of our trip very enjoyable and particularly moving at the Dieppe and Normandy beaches.

Our holiday in Andalucia, was terrific for many reasons, one of which was that Carol Murray of Your Vacation Home helped us plan and organize our trip. She listened, made suggestions then booked flights, transfers, car, tours, a condo in Puerto Banus and luxury hotels in Seville, Cordoba and Nerja. We are safely home after our wonderful trip. We’re exhausted but full of awesome memories. The destinations were terrific. The private tour guides we had were top notch, very knowledgeable, interesting and nice people; shout out to Elizabeth in Athens (Acropolis and Delphi tours), Poppy in Heraklion (Knossos Palace) and Sophia our food tour guide in Chania was superb. We had free champagne/ouzo and desserts at almost every restaurant….the benefits of celebrating our 50th anniversary! The breakfast buffets did not disappoint…of course some were over the top….For the most part the hotels were great for instance the Location of the hotel in center of Athens was perfect. The World Jet Catamarans are the perfect way to travel between islands. Weather was perfect…All in all…this trip exceeded our high expectations!

We had a truly wonderful trip and were so happy with how everything turned out. The property was beautiful, our room & view were perfect, and we had a truly remarkable time with our excursions on that island. We would highly recommend those experiences!
Maui was also spectacular and we had a great time with both of our boat excursions. The snorkeling and Luau were a trip highlight for the both of us. The Westin property was certainly stunning and plenty of amenities, the room and view were not as breathtaking as Kauai, but certainly worth the extra expense for the ocean view room. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a red Camaro for our rental car in Maui which was a surprise, but so much fun. Overall we had an amazing trip and loved every minute of it! Thank you again!

We absolutely LOVED everything about it, we had three glorious days in Athens in a great hotel an outstanding week long Greek cruise with Celestial Crystal which I would recommend in a second WOW every crew member every show all the food I could go on forever, just outstanding!! Our travel consultant Carol, helped us plan and implement a one-of-kind trip to the South of France. She located numerous properties as possible locations for our extended stay in Provence, recommended places to visit, made air and ground travel arrangements for us and our guests. It was truly a fabulous experience.
The remote Farmhouse we chose near Gordes was spectacular–three stories, seven rooms (occupied by a bevy of friends and family over the 3 weeks), an infinity pool and cozy outdoor areas to dine alfresco. Carol also set up dinners for 8 people with two local chefs, Boris and Genevieve. They orchestrated several amazing meals that our guests raved about. We highly recommend Carol, her France expertise and fluency in French made it easy to plan the trip and gave us the confidence to move forward on this premium experience.

Carol did a fantastic job in organizing our last moment vacation. We were swamped in our lives and could not pull a trip together when we introduced to Carol. We wanted and adventure, something outside of our previous vacation practices. Carol offered a number of different possibilities and made recommendations based on our conversations and her experience. She was professional, patience, through and managed the details to ensure everything was a in place for our adventure.
Our trip was fantastic. We sailed on a small sailing ship to the islands of Lipari and Sicily with additional stops at Amalfi, Serrento and Ponza. This was a great way to see parts of Italy we would not necessarily seen.
We will definitely work with Carol again and call on her experience in planning our next adventure.

We wanted to update you about our trip to Italy. In summary, it was amazing. We were so delighted when we arrived in Rome to discover the apartment you picked for us was located directly above a popular bakery so the entire apartment smelling of focaccia, it was perfectly located for our tours and strolling to restaurants and gelato shops. Very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved the walking tour our first day. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. We saw all the major sites with options to detour as well as hidden famous frescoes in small churches. In Amantea the apartments were conveniently located to visit our relatives..The hotel staff were lovely and very accommodating with breakfast times, poolside drinks and recommendations.
The drive to Sorrento was spectacular. The view from the hotel rooftop is stunning. Almost wished we could have stayed longer! Tuscany was by far our favourite stay. The villa was exceptional. We couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. Patricia is such a lovely host and checked in on us over the four-night stay. There was a beautiful pool, fully-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. There were so many lovely towns within a short drive of San Giovanni and we enjoyed eating at the Castello itself — one of the best meals/experiences of our trip. The trip was more than we could have dreamed. We were especially glad to have such clean and comfortable accommodations And great tours to see everything these regions have to offer. Carol planned a customized itinerary for our 3-week trip to Southern Italy and what a fantastic time we had! Every detail was looked after and planned out very thoughtfully according to our wishes, due to Carol’s vast knowledge and experience in planning an Italian sojourn like this. Perhaps the nicest thing about having a travel professional such as Carol working with you is that she was accessible to us throughout the trip and, checked in with us on a regular basis to ensure things were going smoothly!
The travel app we used throughout our trip was also a very nice touch which proved to be extremely helpful. Not only did she plan our wonderful vacation, and keep in touch throughout, Carol also took the time to have a post vacation debrief upon our return.
