This is a wonderful character apartment in a Villa with a garden which was built by a Prince in 1885! It is located between the Villa Borghese and Piazzale Flaminio. This is a dream location in the heart of Rome! The apartment is in the Pinciano neighbourhood. The streets in this area are from astronomers, volcanologists, mathematicians and musicians. The architecture is from late-Roman neoclassical to neo-baroque but also modern, preserving important examples of rationalism of the fascist period. Nearby is the famous Villa Borghese, The National Gallery of Modern Art;- The Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia, and the Galleria Borghese. The neighbourhood is full of trendy bars and restaurants, and its proximity to the center makes it one of the most interesting and well-located spots in Rome to stay in!
This 140sqm apartment has an independent entrance (4 steps to reach the living room) and consists of a lounge, two bedrooms, a veranda / dining room, two bathrooms and kitchen. The furniture is antique and the house is filled with a warm atmosphere full of art and history. Entering the house there is a large hallway. To the left there are two doors, one leading to the lounge and the other to the second bedroom. At the end of the hallway, on your right there is a bathroom with a bathtub and hand shower. The lounge is furnished with sofas, chairs, tables, sideboards and paintings. There is also a decorative fireplace in the living room. The living room leads to the second bedroom, furnished with two single beds, a sofa bed (145cm x 190cm) and two dressers. From the lounge there is also access to the veranda, where there is a large table for six. This veranda has a stained glass window that allows you to admire the beautiful garden. The kitchen is original with some modern touches and is well-equipped and functional, and boasts beautiful views of the garden. The kitchen has a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, stove, cutlery and crockery for eight people. From the living room, a wooden staircase leads upstairs, where there is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (160cm x 190cm), a wardrobe, bedside tables and a TV corner with stereo. The en-suite bathroom has a bathtub with a hand shower. The house has air conditioning.
