The house in located in the hills above the French Riviera, only 30 minutes to the beaches and towns along the Coast.  The location is perfect for clients that wish peace, quiet and privacy, yet want to be close to a village and with easy access to the coast.  It is only 3 km from the hilltop village of Fayence where you will find numerous restaurants, cafes and many small shops. In August a very popular annual Antique fair is held here. Le Lac de Cassien for watersports is within a 15 minute drive and the famous Terre Blanche Golf Course is nearby. The area surrounding this villa is one of rolling hills, woodland, olive groves and delightful medieval perched villages such as Montauroux and Fayence with their cafes, restaurants and craft shops. Fayence is also home to the national hang-gliding centre. The famous perfume town of Grasse and the coast at Mandelieu and Cannes are all within 30 minutes.  The property is close to the borders of the Alpes Maritimes and the Var, so access into the un-spoilt hills of the Var region and further into Provence is an easy day trip.  The coast at Frejus is just over half an hour away, and St Tropez just over an hour.  While the beautiful university town of Aix-en-Provence is less than 2 hours drive.

This is a very charming Provencal Stone Farmhouse which has a cozy feel to it. It is set on terraced grounds surrounded by woodland (take care with children). It has a private 15m x 7m swimming pool, and a pool house with summer kitchen, dining facilities, and barbecue. It is peacefully situated in a rural woodland setting with lovely valley views, it offers a paradise-like retreat yet it is not too far from quaint villages or the coast.  The living room is warm and cozy with exposed wooden beams, wooden floors, comfortable furniture and a large inglenook fireplace. During the summer months, a spacious covered terrace is the perfect place to relax while overlooking the large solar heated swimming pool!
