This 15th century listed manor house is adjacent to the owner’s magnificent 17century chateau!   It is built on a hill so it enjoys views over the countryside near Azay-le-Rideau. It is a detached house which retains it’s original features including an impressive staircase, wooden beams, wooden floors and open fireplaces. The attractive interior reflects the owners’ flair for interior design, and modern comforts are well blended with local antiques. Outside the 30 hectares estate has woodlands, spacious landscaped gardens and large lawns with an attractive ornamental pond. Guests can enjoy the shared swimming pool and tennis court, spend time with the horses and donkeys, or explore the vineyards and winery. The Royal Castles of the Loire Valley as well as the charming cities and towns of the region are within easy day trips, including the Châteaux of Azay, Ussé, Villandry, Chinon, Langeais, Saumur and Tours. For cycling enthusiasts there are over a hundred cycle tracks alongside the riverbanks (bike rental available). Home cooked meals available (at additional cost, welcome breakfast free of charge).
