THE CHARMING MEWS HOUSE –  NEAR HYDE PARK, LONDON, ENGLAND – 2 BDRM 2 BATH  This is a very charming and compact Mews House owned by a real “Lord and Lady” who use it as their “pied a terre” when they are in London!   A  Mews House is a British term for a converted Stable and Carriage house which are set behind large city houses and were built in the 17th and 18th centuries.  It is a perfect spot for 2 couples or a family of 4 to live like a local in comfort while they explore London!

This “Mews house” has three floors with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a nice sized terrace.  It is decorated in an elegant English Style with hardwood floors through-out , some antiques, wonderful art, and rich fabrics.  This is a non-smoking property.
Living/Dining room – The living room is compact but cozy and bright with two comfortable sofas, antique tables, mirrors, a round dining table for four persons, large LCD TV and DVD player.  The walls are decorated with some fine art.  French doors lead onto a spacious terrace where if the weather is nice you can dine outside.
Kitchen – The kitchen is just off the living/dining room and is modern with marble tiles. It has a stainless steel stove, fridge / freezer, microwave, washer / dryer, iron / board, dishwasher, cafetiere, hairdryer and vacuum.
Bedrooms – The elegant master bedroom is on the top floor and has a king-sized bed (6ft x 6’3) with lots of cupboard space. The second bedroom is on the ground floor and has a king-sized zip bed that can convert into 2 twins (6ft x 6’3) and plenty of cupboard space.  Both bedrooms are the same size and standard, so it is perfect for 2 couples sharing the apartment.
Bathrooms – Both bathrooms are en-suite. The master has a bathtub, wash-hand basin, WC and shower over the tub. The second bathroom has a wash-hand basin, WC and a walk-in shower. There is also a separate cloakroom.
