The Chateau du Perigord is a beautiful, tranquil 17th century chateau set in a 184 acre estate in the heart of the Dordogne. It is considered locally to be the most important building of its kind in the whole of the Perigord region and sits in a wooded valley with extensive gardens, a heated swimming pool and a lake.  The chateau has recently been returned to its former glory with many original features, including stone and marble fire surrounds and elegant wall paneling. It is able to accommodate up to 20 guests in both the main house and the beautifully converted barn. There are 10 bedrooms in total, 6 in the main house and 4 in the Barn. Included in the price is a 2 hourly cleaning service each weekday morning.

Our manager lives in the grounds of the property and is on hand for any questions you may have whether it be about the chateau or the local area. This is, of course, a completely free service which will allow you to be even more relaxed and rested.

A welcome hamper is included in the price. This will contain your basic first night, first morning needs including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cereal, butter, jam, bread, biscuits, cheese, cold meats and wine of the region. All rates include linen and a 2 hourly cleaning service each weekday morning.
The VIP Concierge Team can make reservations or offer suggestions to help you organize your time spent at the Chateau. Supplementary services that are offered at additional cost are: Continental breakfast delivered each morning. Other meals can be catered for if requested and sufficient notice is given.

 We’re now offering our customers the chance to enjoy some unforgettable eats with our new Chef Service! Choose from booking a single sumptuous meal with a private chef for that special occasion, or hire a chef to cook your meals for all or part of your holiday – it’s as flexible as it is delicious.

A) Single Meal Service: A chef will travel to this villa and whip up a fantastic meal for you and your guests. The chef will arrive with all the necessary ingredients as well as the talent to turn them into something unforgettable. They’ll serve the meal and clear up afterwards – an easy and entertaining way to enjoy a top quality meal in your very own villa!

B) Full Chef Service: If you really want to kick back and relax, we can arrange for a chef to cater for the duration of your holiday (or part of it). With a range of options from simple family catering to full-on haute cuisine, we can organise a meal plan and a price to suit your needs. So why worry about self-catering when you can have everything taken care of?

Of course, before booking this service, we suggest you contact the property owner as they might already offer a similar cook or chef service in-house.
